A Family Tradition
From potato farming to statues and fountains, learn how quality and craftsmanship are a family tradition here at Olde Towne Gardens.
A Family Business to be Proud of
Once known as Borella’s Farm Stand and Borella’s II, Shawn Keane took over the company from his mom and uncle in 2009 and renamed it Olde Towne Gardens. John “Peter” Borella, Shawn’s grandfather, owned the company for over 39 years. It was a family business that originally spanned over 80 acres of farmland with 10 greenhouses on the property, which grew produce and flowers! From working closely with his grandfather on displays in the farmstand and watching him sow seeds in their original glass greenhouse…Shawn learned about plants and design and earned a true love for the industry.
Olde Towne Gardens has grown and changed under Shawn’s creativity and vision. He has expanded the business by adding new products such as fountains, statuary, pottery, and, in 2017, a gift shop. Known for its onsite creative displays and unique plants, the company also now offers off-site landscape design and plantings. Olde Towne Gardens continues to grow with new products each year, for example hand-made metal statues from a village in Kenya and more.

Living among us are hundreds of fairy gardeners, who maintain a sense of childlike wonder and whimsy by embracing miniature gardening with fairies, gnomes and other mythical figurines.
